Custom homes in Cupertino, CA

Agreeing to move in with my boyfriend was the brashest decision I've made in the whole 23 years of my existence. Alex's recent promotion required him to move all the way across the country. The poor guy was already on the brink of separation anxiety at the mere thought of living in two separate States. This was despite making it known to him, quite vehemently, that I had no qualms about long-distance relationships. He reassured me that his company already made all necessary arrangements for the grand cross-over. We'd be settling in one of those custom homes in Cupertino, CA - suburban heaven for West Coasters, hell for Big City folks like me.

It was too big a change for me, being thrown into a whole new world with no horizons to pursue - a twisted version of Aladdin. I had a good-paying job, a high-rise apartment, a whole lifestyle I've grown accustomed to. What made me pack my bags and move to the other side of the country; I still can't quite put a finger on.

Bright lights, big city no more, call me Ms. Suburbia from now on.

My company needed a designing associate to help out in the remodeling additions Saratoga department so I had 'Get a job' ticked off my to-do list. Early on, my hands were full because of job demands, though I still had time to feel the bittersweet pang of homesickness. I made mental notes to self every single day; I was going to get used to it eventually. Alex sensed my uneasiness and thought it best to come up with a whole house remodeling project to keep me even busier - enough to make me thinking of home.

I turned the place inside out, upside down. No lone part of the house was spared. I sought the services of home repair businesses in Saratoga and other neighboring towns; plumbing Los Gatos , painting Los Altos and electrical Saratoga, CA. There was already so much to do in the office but there was even much more to do at home. Despite the overwhelming amount of work, there were still instances where I'd mope, humming "New York, New York".
