I was in contact with Mike Yarusinsky at the beginning of our home search. I talked about my intensions of buying a house. He was very arrogant and obsessed by square footage. He was listing the names of builders that offer products out of my price range as if everyone should be living in a mansion. He offered tons of pointless advice that ended up being mostly false.
He also told many stories about people making great profit in the Arizona market. When I insisted on the fact that my family’s priority was to find our dream place and build long term family memories, he replied that staying in a house for more than 5 years was foolish.
I consider that kind of realtor a waste of time and money. If a majority of az home buyers are in the market for investment purposes, a lot of us just want to settle in a great neighborhood and live happy with our children. He seemed to me like the man bases his business on old fashion credentials and thinks that everyone should share his opinion. I needed a real-estate agent to access listings not to be told about my dream home should look like his.
