ARTICLE: Foreclosure process in Idaho (ID)
Marchel,I too was surprised about Utah and releevid to not see Oregon. Bend & Redmond have done a good job of moving its distressed property inventory, which has been pretty sizable; so far, Sisters & Tumalo have had a much smaller cache to wade through. Thanks for stopping by!

ARTICLE: Leasing Apartments - 10 Keys to Getting The Lease
At the seniors only colpmex I live at, it is no. And yes.It is for seniors only age 60 and over. Seniors as young as 50 or 55 okay but have to meet income and health guidelines. There is also some pressure to move oldsters , especially single ones out of general apartment population as a single housing authority has apartments for everybody and another for seniors and another housing colpmex for assisted living qualified individuals. But back to the seniors. A family member or members may live with a disabled or physically or mentally challenged senior to assist them in daily chores. There may also be a paid family member to help with family chores. And there may be a married couple. But the rent is divvied up and set accordingly as to how many people live there. And the housing authority has to be told how many people will live there. Visiting family and friends may join senior for up to 21 days any longer and paperwork, number of tenant and rent amount is changed upward or person may be evicted.Tenant may also be evicted for having people living with them and not telling housing office. Except in winter if the people have no place to move to or the resources to do so. Then they are moved out when weather improves in spring

ARTICLE: Find Chesapeake Virginia Apartments for Rent
Hi there!I am looking for a waemrr version of Wild Horse Smoke; more of a warm gray rather than a cool gray, but without such an obvious green undertone like Chesapeake Bay has (and not as dark as Chesapeake Bay). Would this custom Pewter color work? If so, I'd like a sample! If not, what would you recommend to achieve such a color?

ARTICLE: Find Chesapeake Virginia Apartments for Rent
Each parcel of land is rrtisgeeed with the county at least. Each county has a Register (or name like that), whose job is to keep track of who owns what. Or sometimes what is usually the same: What is owned by whom. Authorities keep this registry for two reasons (and sometimes it is two different offices): 1. to collect real estate taxes, and 2. to help property title and mortgages and other liens. So, yes. You can check if you have the address. Nowadays, you can check for ownership online. you can start googling the key words in your question or this answer and you'll get the info. With the address, look for the Block and Lot numbers for the property. With that, you get the deed. The deed -or info taken from it- will tell you who is the owner. You can also call the County and ask for the address of the records office. Then you go there and get it (if you don't want to use internet). Good luck.

You make several very valid pionts, one at the US's expense, but it is still a valid point. Prices in the US are not going to fall 20% by the end of the year either as the concentration of new construction has counter-balanced the slow in sales. However, in certain Canadian markets, the ones that have risen more than 30% in price over the past 24 months, those have the chance of devaluating by 20% over the next half decade should your financial markets feel the same strain as ours.

RE: Actually, you seem to me to have the opinion that conpiratoors can do no wrong. What would happen, the same as always happens, is that conpiratoors will run dollars, Yuan, Rubles, or Rupees through the United states, and on to the next place they can make a profit. pfft is right about the liqiudity trap, and doing away with the corporate tax, though it sounds like a great idea, won't help any. What we need is trade agreements to get money moving. The days of in country velocity, like China is finding, are going to be very hard to get back. Consumers want more, at a reduced price.

ARTICLE: Overcoming a Bad Credit
You are unlikely to get an unusreced loan with your credit score. But there are some companies out there who can work with you to get these payday loans paid off. Most debt consolidation companies don't work with payday loans but a couple of companies do. One is Langhorne Debt Solutions. Their services are not free but they are very good at what they do. Also, it is likely you have paid your payday loans off already but with rollovers, etc. it just keeps you in a cycle of debt. Do some research on the payday industry and you will see that several states are taking action against payday loans due to illegal interest rates and other shady business practices. Good luck to you.

Dear P.,Sorry I have not been entertaining! I'm rlelay glad you are reading. I was a little pressed for time on the last posting. But let me tell you there is always something interesting happening at the Argosy. We just had Turkey Rod Run and all these buildings built in 1953 were remembering the way it was when they were new. The antique cars just took them back in time. We have pics of when the motel was new. We'll be posting it as soon as we can. The Argosy looked just like those old pics just days ago during the Thanksgiving Holiday. The whole town was full of old cars and people that love them. It was great!Sincerely,Sharon, one half of the beach bums

ARTICLE: What's It Worth? - How to Figure Your Cap Rate
My children love it when I go away for a day. I'm the diiilpcinarsan in the family so life is very structured when I'm home. TV and computer time is limited and the children are expected to do their chores and help out around the house. When Mom goes on vacation the children get a break from their daily routine and Dad let's them play on the computer all day or watch TV and they usually order pizza for dinner. Whenever it's time to go on an outing they usually help me pack and shoo me out the door. I love it.

ARTICLE: Foreclosure Process in Nevada (NV)
Hi,I am new here and have spent the past two days reading it's a great reorcsue to have found this site and to have read your stories, to see that I am not the only person who is going through this nightmare.I apologize for the length of this, but wanted to tell my story and see if anyone has been here and knows what I can do.I have been trying to get a loan modification with Bank of America since July, 2009 . This is the status of my case right now:1. It took until October for them to have received my information, as the first two people I spoke to listed different criteria and the second gave me the wrong fax number to sent it all to I only found this out when I had called after about a month (after second submission of documents) to see what the status was, if I needed to do anything. They then gave me another list of documents and the correct fax #.2. Received letter in October that they received my information and would inform me within 60 days of any information.3. Called about a week ago, the woman on the phone told me that there was no information. As I am pretty desperate at this point since my home has been in foreclosure for months as BAC told me NOT to make any payments, and she told me that if I sent any payments, they would return it, as my home is in foreclosure status, and that I just need to wait. Also told me that a negotiator was assigned at the end of December.4. Called again today, as I received a notice in the mail (and also saw it posted online for anyone to see) notifying me that I have until 2/22/2010 to notify the court (myself or via attorney) with an appearance if I am entitled to the Servicemember Civil Relief Act (which I am not) and think I have a right to object to the foreclosure.5. Called BAC again, and the woman I spoke to today told me that I am IN A TRIAL PERIOD that started January 1, 2010 that was when my first trial payment was due! It is for 3 months so I paid the amount that was due the first, and scheduled payments for 2/1 and 3/1.6. I asked why I wasn't notified, and was concerned that I didn't get this information she told me the documents will come within 45 days of January 1st to notify me of the trial period. What I am confused about is why at that point two of my trial payments would have been outstanding. Since I was not notified, they accepted my first payment late as on time (she said).7. I told them about the notice I received, and she said that the foreclosure date was pushed out to 3/10 which is after my 3-month trial period ends . And supposedly a decision will be made. If this is true, why was this document delivered to me YESTERDAY telling me that I have until 2/22/2010 before I lose my home, especially if my TRIAL period started January 1?? This court decision was just delivered. The problem is that I have no documents to back this up. I can't confirm besides the word of the phone rep of the day that my foreclosure date was postponed. Do I call a lawyer? Do I call the lawyer of the plaintiff (which is listed as BAC) to notify them that it was postponed? I don't understand the trial period if they are giving me a trial period, and I make the payments on time, I am still going crazy at the possibility that they may reject the modification. If you succeed in making your payments during the trial period, how can they still deny you, and if so what was the point? If they deny the loan modification, will they demand the full amount owed since you stopped making payments (at their advice), or will they just go back to the previous monthly payment amount, and roll the rest of it on top? I owe $16,000 since I stopped paying at this point if I am not approved I will be out on the street. I have lived in my home 3 years, am 30 years old and alone, and am a first-time home owner. This really is my worst nightmare.Given the court notice, and the trial period information that I only stumbled onto by accident because I called them twice this month hoping for some information, what should I do now? How can I be sure that the postponement of my foreclosure is for real? From this notice, it does not look like the city knows about it. How do I respond to this court notice what should I do?I appreciate you reading this, and from someone who has not been able to sleep in months and is pretty much stressed out to the max now 24/7, I hope that you all have the best of luck with this horrible nightmare and that we are all able to stay in our homes.Thanks,Jax.

The banks aren't in any hurry to process short sales or loan mods. They're not ever going to have enguoh trained staff to get through this mess. I agree with what I read from Indy's comment #11. They want to stall and drag this out as long as they can so they can stay alive another quarter and collect another paycheck. In the meantime, they are trying like mad to make new loans (new fee revenue income), and hold off foreclosing in case the homeowner self-cures the default or they qualify for a mod. I'm hearing from my friends in servicing that there's just a huge problem with people calling in asking for a loan mod that flat out don't qualify. For example, they have NO job (not going to get a loan mod with no income) or they would otherwise qualify for a traditional refi! Today I heard of one guy asking for a loan mod because he wanted to avoid paying the closing costs associated with a refi. Meanwhile there are real people hurting out there waiting for an answer from loan servicing.

ARTICLE: A Guide to Leavenworth, Washington Condos
We have a fixed rate mortgage and when we got it 3 1/2 yrs ago, we deecdid that the best thing for us (not for everyone, obviously) was to lock in for a 10-yr term at 5.5%. Yes, the variable rates are super low and have been for the last 2 yrs or so, but we sleep well at night knowing we calculated what we could afford monthly for a 10 yr period and we have no worries about what the rates will do for the remaining 6.5 yrs left on our term. We can afford 5.5% and probably upwards of 7-8% if necessary and we also have some wiggle room to temporarily extend the amortization from the current 16 yrs back up to 20-25 or even 30 yrs if we are suddenly down a significant amount of income. We'd hate to do that, but it's an option in the case of a sudden temporary income loss.
